How to Duplicate a Themify Post
Previously used the WordPress editor? In this tutorial, we’ll walk through how to duplicate and modify your existing Themify blog posts in five simple steps.
By the end, you’ll be able to create new blog posts with ease.
Step 1: Duplicate an Existing Blog Post
After logging into your WordPress website, navigate to an existing blog post, hover over it and click ‘Duplicate’.
Step 2: Click the Duplicated Post
You should now see a duplicated post with ‘Copy’ at the end. Click this post to navigate to the backend.
Step 3: Update the Name, Excerpt and Link
It’s now time to give the duplicated post a new post title, excerpt and link. The excerpt serves as a preview of the blog post, appearing on archive pages like the home and journal pages, where users can click to read more.
Step 4: Add a New Featured Image
The featured image appears at the top of the blog post and is the main preview image on archive pages, such as the home and journal pages.
You’ve now successfully duplicated a blog post and are ready to update the content!
